Ann was born on August 30, 1922 in Queens, New York to Henry Sengelaub and Frances Werner Sengelaub.
She was a long time resident of Greencastle, where she worked at the DePauw Hub, and volunteered countless hours at the Senior Center. Ann enjoyed working the front desk and was known for her ability to promote the annual quilt raffle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James C. Cook; and two sisters, Florence Faas and Dorothy Roam. Surviving are her daughter, Laura Stamper and husband Steve; a grandson, Robert J. Stamper; and a brother, Harry Sengelaub.
Ann was an avid bingo player, and volunteered at many local nursing facilities assisting with the bingo games.
