Betty Jean Crawley Sillery

Betty Jean Sillery, 74, of Greencastle, passed away May 8, 2012.

Born November 22, 1937 in Indianapolis, IN, she was the daughter of Charles and Dorothy Crawley (Dickerson). She was a graduate of Greencastle High School Class of “56”. She married Royal Dale Sillery on June 27, 1958, and he preceded her in death.

Betty worked for DePauw University for 48 years, before retiring in 2009. She attended the Store House Assembly of God in Greencastle.

She is survived by her daughter Gale Gidcumb and husband Alan; grandchildren Tashia and Joshua Gidcumb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Marjorie Flowers and Sandra Crawley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Hopkins-Rector Home. Pastor Troy Trout will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, May 11, 2012.
