Brenda Lee Wineman

Brenda was born in Auburn, California on June 7, 1962, the daughter of Edgar Earl and Rosanna (Fairchild) Overshiner, and was a 1980 graduate of North Putnam High School.

Mrs. Wineman was a member of First Baptist Church of Greencastle. Brenda loved her family and took great care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son Clinton Ferguson; a daughter Belinda Ferguson; six grandchildren, Rowen Ferguson, JaceLynn Ferguson, Ciara Pruett, Zoe Pruett, Kimothy Inabnit, and Daisy Peters; a sister, Jo An Davis, (David Powers); a brother, Earl Ray Overshiner, (Mari); and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Johnathon Ferguson.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2026, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with pastor Matthew Gurney officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Friday.
