One day Bruce was needing to take his cat to the vet. He tried several things to lure the cat into the carrier. So we decided to see if we could help him chase her into the cage because she ran every time she saw us. Finally, we had all but given up, when we got the idea to open a can of tuna and put that in the carrier. The cat, who had been looking at us like there was no way in the world she would ever get in that cage, couldn’t resist the smell of the tuna and walked right in the carrier. We all had a big laugh and Bruce said, always keep a can of tuna on hand if you need to take a cat to the vet.
We have been blessed to have such good neighbors as Bruce and Dorisann. Our hearts feel the loss of our sweet neighbor we affectionately called, Brucey.
