Chris Alan Johnson

Chris Alan Johnson, 53, of Greencastle passed away Friday, May 21, 2021, at Mill Pond Health Campus. Chris was born in Greencastle on October 26, 1967, the son of Walter Ralph and Norma Jean (Treash) Johnson. Mr. Johnson worked for many years at Putnam County Comprehensive Services. He always had a smile on his face, and will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Survivors include his parents; his sister, Vicki Oliver, (husband-Larry), Greencastle; two nieces, Jenny Dobson, (husband-Adam), Cloverdale, and Brandi Sharp, (husband-Bob), Coatesville; a nephew, Daniel Oliver, Greencastle; 5 great-nieces, Lilli Oliver, Elizabeth Dobson, Anna Sharp, Natalie Dobson, and Kayde Sharp; several cousins, aunts, and uncles; and special friends, Alyce West, and Melissa Lawler. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2021 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Campbell officiating. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
