Tyler remembers having talks, playing with the cars and looking at all the music boxes that grandma bum had. Tyler said he loved going places with him. 🤗🤗🤗

Summer 2017 I took Tyler and Parker to see Grandpa Bum. Pops loved sitting on the front porch. It had rained that night before, pops had a bucket at the end of the steps. Tyler and Parker would go and get rocks to drop into the bucket. They would ask Grandpa every time if it was ok to do this, knowing pops he always said yes to them. They did this for about an hour or so, then they went into the house to cool off. Grandpa told the boys they could get all the cars out of the little suit case Tyler was Super Excited. Grandpa loved to make the boys smile.

Danny strongly opposed cats until this one walked into his life. He even let Callie inside during the cold winter days this year. He was more concerned about what was going to happen to Callie when he moved into skilled care 😢

I first met Danny when he worked in the machine shop at M-R Auto Parts. From there he was a mechanic at Bumgardner's Garage. I can't remember seeing Danny not smile or have something funny or polite to say. Was very saddened to hear of his passing and not getting a chance to say hello one last time. Rest in peace, Danny. So thankful you are not in any pain anymore and reunited with Sandi and your family. Thank you for your long-time business with M-R. Until we meet again.

Some of the best times were working on cars in his garage, I remember that old wood stove he had in there and the restoration of that old Terraplane . I had an old gold wing motorcycle that broke the timing belt and bent the valves. Danny said he didn’t know if we could get it running but we worked on it in his garage that winter and I was riding it in the spring. Bought my first pick up truck from him, Chevy truck that originally came from cash concrete. Wish I had that old truck back. Rest In Peace Danny.

My dad was a kind gentle soul. He cared for others more than for himself. Was a great teacher with the mentality to never give up. He loved his family very much and enjoyed seeing all of us succeed in all we did. I will miss him very much and never forget all he taught me.

Dad hated to go into a big box retailer even for shopping. I was his little elf for Christmas, Birthday and Anniversary shopping for Mom ❤️!
RIP- I miss and love you both very much.
