Mr. Buchanan was born July 26, 1945 in New Maysville, IN to the late William and Eva (Hurt) Buchanan. He was a 1963 graduate of Bainbridge High School and worked as a construction superintendent for CPM. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Mr. Buchanan is survived by a large and loving family including his significant other, Jackie Reynolds; children, Timothy (Jennifer) Buchanan, Cary William (Brenda) Buchanan, Madisyn Pearl Buchanan and Jessica Lynn Vieira; siblings, Roy, Patty and Rosemary Lancaster, Don, Ron, Brenda Combs, and Beth Spencer; grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Jason, Tawney, Seth and great-granddaughter, Emma.
Visitation will be from 4 pm until 8 pm, Monday, June 20, 2016 in Hopkins Rector Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Burial will follow in New Maysville Cemetery.
