

Deanna was born January 26, 1945 in Brazil, IN to the late Kibbe Maurice and Dorothy Orth Snell. She was a 1963 graduate of Brazil High School and attended Indiana State University. On September 27, 1964 she married Larry Wells and he survives.
Deanna was a talented seamstress and owned her own business, Sew Fancy Embroidery. She also used her sewing talents with DePauw University students for many years. In addition to her work as a seamstress, she worked at Western Auto, Montgomery Ward and Sears.
She was a member of the Family, Friends and Fun Home Economics Club, and was very active in the 4-H Club with her family. She was a member of Friendly Squares Square Dance Club with her husband, and together they traveled to state and national square dance conventions. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and attended Beech Grove United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband Larry, she is survived by her daughters, Michele Green and Melissa (Mitch) Senter; siblings, Joyce (Ray) Thompson, Alan (Terry) Snell, and Tom (Linda) Snell; grandchildren, Kylee, Chance, Dorothy, and Shallan; and great-granddaughter, Alli.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Snell.
Visitation will be from 4 pm until 7 pm, Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in Hopkins Rector Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, September 7, 2016. She will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery.
