She was born on February 23, 1950 in Greencastle to William Ward Maddox and Betty Jane Irwin Maddox.
Diana was a 1968 graduate of Greencastle High School, and had been employed at the Putnam County Treasurers Office and the Greencastle Kroger store.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Scott; and a brother, Ron Maddox.
Surviving are her daughter, Brandi Lady and husband Rod; a son, Derek Cavaness and wife Beth; step-son, Chris Scott; step-daughter, Judi Harris; a sister Patricia Helmer and husband Ed; a brother, Clint Maddox and wife Dana; grandchildren, Brittany, Rachelle, Preston and Megan; step-grandchildren, Howie and Corey; and a special niece, Laurie Voigt.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10 A.M. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, with Chaplain Gary Scott officiating. Interment will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
