

Dianna was born in St. Bernice on June 22, 1945, the daughter of Walter and Edna (Williams) Chambers, and was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Mrs. Cowsert worked for over 15 years as a processor at FB Distro. She was a member of Greencastle Moose Lodge. She was also a Fraternal member of the Eagles in Greencastle. Dianna was raised in Clinton, but had been in Greencastle for over 20 years.
Survivors include her significant other, Virgil Bolton; four children, Tammy Slobodnik, (husband-Mark), Streamwood, Illinois, Virgil Houser Jr., (wife-Karen), Huntington, Joyce Reid, (fiancé-Dan Lamb), Greencastle, and Thomas Houser, (wife-Selena), Addison, Illinois; a sister, Judy Eldridge, Terre Haute; two brothers, Bernard L. Chambers, (wife-Sharon), Clinton, and John R. Chambers, Oldsmar, Florida; 13 grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many step-children and step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Cowsert; a great-grandson, Noah; and eight siblings, Billy, Margaret R., Walter Jr., Thomas M., Paul R., Ross, and Jack Chambers, and Dixie J. Ruffattola.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Jake Chew officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2020, or one hour prior to time of service Tuesday.
