Donald Wayne Ratcliff
August 1, 1935 – May 10, 2024

Donald Wayne “Ragweed” Ratcliff, 88, of Bainbridge, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024.
Born August 1, 1935 in Morton, IN the son of Virgil Cline and Ivyl Oreta (Keyt) Ratcliff and a graduate of Bainbridge High School “Class of 1953”.
Don retired from General Motors in Indianapolis, where he had worked as a pipefitter. He had previously worked for Coca Cola as a truck driver and a masonry. He was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge; member of the American Legion, Greencastle, Eagles Lodge and Elks Lodge of Hendricks County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Bonny (Hill) Ratcliff; sisters Betty (Roland) Ruark and Lucille (Don) Gilstrap.
Don is survived by his children Randy Ratcliff, Terry (Mike) Clifford, and Debby (Jake) Zaring; grandchildren Darcy (Aaron) Boyce, Ashley (Ryan) Truebenbach, Tabitha (Brian) Bandy, Aaron (Jen) Smith, Jordan (David) Kean, and Izaak (Jill) Zaring; and great grandchildren Hannah, Leah, Gatlon, Bellamy, Jenna, Max, Audra, Breck, Kelin, DeLaney, Daelin, Taebrin, Kyra, Haiden, & pending twins.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Union Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in memory of Don.
