Donna Marie Mills

Born May 18, 1934, in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Michael John and Loretta Ann (Dunn) Shemash.

Donna was a "Class of 1955" graduate of St. Margaret's Nursing School in Hammond, IN. She worked several years as a Registered Nurse retiring from Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.

She was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church in Brownsburg, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eugene Mills; son Michael Mills; sister Jackie Nielson; brother Michael Shemash; and granddaughter Erika deCallone.

Donna is survived by her children Ann Felgen, Michelle Waters, Terese Carter, Jean (David) McCorkhill, Lisa (David) Galligan, Kevin (Tina) Mills; sister Joni Ryan; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at St. Malachy Catholic Church 9833 E. Co. Rd. 750 N. Brownsburg, IN. Inurnment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Garden in Fishers, IN. Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home have been entrusted with the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Donna to the St. Malachy Catholic Church.
