Born January 7, 1948, in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Charles Robert and Wilma J. (McFarland) Libka. Jane was a graduate of Greencastle High School and Harrold’s Beauty College with a degree in cosmetology.
Jane owned and operated the Catalina Beauty Salon in Greencastle for 48 years. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the American Legion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband Robert Rhea Bitzer.
Jane is survived by her daughters Candace (Emory) Hardman and Brandy (Dean) Brock; sister Ann Hendrich; and grandchildren Dylan Brock, Izzy Brock, and Alison Hardman-Myers.
Private family services will be held for Jane at a later date. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
