Garry was born in Indianapolis on December 1, 1952, the son of Ira and Frances Cook.
Mr. Cook Supervisor with Great Dane and worked there for over 35 years until he retired in 2015. He was a former member of the Coon Hunters Club. Garry raced stock cars in the 70’s. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Linda Cook; a son, Jamey Cook, (Jill); four grandchildren, Noah Cook, (Jozie), Ryley Cook, Becca Cook, and Michael Fraizer, (Lizzy); and four great-grandchildren, Mila, Trace, Brantley, and Zoey.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Dorothy Cook.
At his request, he will be cremated and a memorial service will take place at a later date.
