Born February 6, 1957, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of James Harvey and Doris Jean (Rutherford) Bonta Jr.
Jackie had worked at the Putnam Inn Restaurant for 13 years prior to her decline in health.
Jackie was a kind, smart, caring mother, aunt, and friend, she had a smile for everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson Danzel Carter.
Jackie was loved and will be dearly missed by her family. Her daughter Angela Carter; sisters Terri Rogers, Dona Collins, & Mona Shircliff; nephews Elton Cross, Waylon Collins, Kenneth Stone, & Wesley Stone; and dear friends Tonya Pruitt and John Douglas.
A Celebration will be held for Jackie at later date. Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
