Jarrod Lee Goebel

Jarrod was born on July 20, 1997, to Michael Goebel and Michelle Bunten. Jarrod was a free spirit who didn’t know a stranger. He enjoyed spending time gaming, being outdoors hunting, fishing, and mushroom hunting with friends and family, when he wasn’t working.

Jarrod was preceded in death by his father Michael Goebel and grandfather Steve Bunten.

Jarrod had no children and no spouse. He is survived by his mother Michelle Bunten, sister Kylynn Goebel, nephew Damon Dougherty, grandmother Anita Long, uncle Darrel (Jamie)Bunten, uncle Brandon Kenner, uncle Justin Kenner and several cousins.

Though he is gone from our sight, he will remain forever in our hearts through the countless memories made.

Family and friends are invited to gather together in remembrance of Jarrod at Hopkins Rector Funeral Home 4 Percy Julian Drive, Greencastle, IN 46135.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. with services to immediately follow at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow at the Fillmore Cemetery.
