Jeffrey Alan Gross

Jeffrey was born in Greencastle on May 4, 1958, the son of Gerald and Beatrice (Hayes) Gross, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School. He earned his Associates Degree in Technical Engineering from Ivy Tech.

Mr. Gross was a former member of ABATE. Jeffrey worked in maintenance for 30 years with Ascena. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed camping, fishing, and working outdoors.

Survivors include his wife of 32 years Annette Gross, Greencastle; two children, Thomas Gross, and Marissa Yeley, (husband-Alex) both of Greencastle; three grandchildren, Shiloh and Jasper Marcum, and Aspen Yeley; three brothers, Gene Gross, (wife-Nancy), Illinois, David Gross, (wife-Gail), Van Bibber Lake, and Mark Gross, Greencastle; his beloved dog, Cookie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Kenny and Eddie Gross.

Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time of service on Tuesday.
