Jeff was born on March 27, 1962 in Greenfield, and was a 1980 graduate of Greenfield High School.
He was a truck driver for over 30 years, and had worked at Indiana Youth Center in Plainfield and at the Putnamville Correctional Facility.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Everett Garriott.
Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Lesa D. Thomas; children, Jennifer Collier, Melissa Overby, and Brandy Turner; his mother, Carolyn J. Garriott; a half- brother, Travis Garriott and wife Linda; and ten grandchildren.
