Jon Orrin Pawelczyk Sr.

Jon was born in Trenton, Michigan on March 21, 1963, the son of Jerry and Carolyn (Masters) Pawelczyk, and was a 1981 graduate of Flat Rock High School.

Mr. Pawelczyk was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #301. He was a Union Carpenter and Superintendent for over 35 years. He enjoyed woodworking, bonfires, and cutting firewood with his buddies. He loved being a Papaw and sitting on his porch watching the world go by.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Janet Pawelczyk; four children, Cassandra Roche, Jon Pawelczyk Jr., (Brittany), Brandon Pawelczyk, and Brittney York, (Christian); his father, Jerry Pawelczyk Sr. (Jill), three brothers, Jerry Pawelczyk Jr., (Frankie), Jim Pawelczyk, (Diane), and Joel Pawelczyk, (Pam); eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Pawelczyk; a granddaughter, Kendra Crowe; and a brother, Jeffrey Pawelczyk.

The family will have a celebration of life on April 25, 2026. They will receive family and friends at the Fillmore United Methodist Church from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. with a service at 2:00 p.m.
