Joseph Mark Biggs

Born February 2, 1987 in Greencastle, the son of Mark Anthony and Cheryl Ann (Gilbert) Biggs.

Joe was a lifelong farmer. He loved to hunt and operate equipment. He was a very likeable person, forgave easily, and had a big smile. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church; the National Rifleman’s Assn. and the Madison Township Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his parents, brothers, Benjamin (Christy) Biggs and Caleb Biggs; a sister, Sarah (Tyson) Bueckert; grandparents, Ida Biggs, and Red and Shirley Gilbert; and fiancé, Abbie Claussen.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Allen Biggs and nephew, Anthony Biggs.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the Little Walnut Cemetery.

The family invites friends to the Immanuel Baptist Church, 9 Houck Road Greencastle, immediately following services to fellowship and share memories of Joe.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory to the Madison Township Volunteer Fire Department.
