She was a 1977 graduate of Greencastle High School. Karen married Tim Gruenholz on September 8, 1979. She was a homemaker and took great pride in raising her family. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed planting flowers, especially roses. Karen was very into world events and politics. The greatest joy of her life was her granddaughter, Kayla.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Wilma Fenwick.
She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, Tim Gruenholz; her children: Nathan (wife, Courtney) Gruenholz and Mathew Gruenholz; her granddaughter, Kayla Gruenholz; her brothers, Steve Fenwick and Gary Fenwick and a large extended family.
Per Karen’s wishes, cremation has been chosen. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
