Karl Douglas Neumann

Born April 7, 1939 in Greencastle the son of Karl Howard and Margaruitte H. (Cowan) Neumann. He was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1957”.

Doug had worked as a correctional officer at Putnamville Correctional Facility until his retirement. He had previously owned and operated Neumann Construction and worked at IBM.

He was a former member of the Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James Neumann.

Doug is survived by his wife Cecelia Neumann; sons Stephen (Darlene) Neumann and Rick (Dr. Michael Drake) Neumann; grandchildren Jackie (Donny) Barger and Jake (Rachel) Neumann; great grandchildren Shelby (Kenny Human) Barger, Kylie (Kole) Bemish, Katie Barger, Luke Neumann, Rebecca Neumann, and Abby Neumann, great great grandson Colton Human; sister-in-law Phyllis Neumann, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at later date.
