Kerry Gene Hutcheson

February 21, 1954October 31, 2019

Kerry G. Hutcheson, 65, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019, surrounded by his family.

He was born February 21, 1954 in Greencastle, the son of Marvin E. and Myra Jane (Twigg) Hutcheson and was a graduate of South Putnam High School “Class of 1972”.

Kerry had owned and operated Kerry Hutcheson Builders.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Adams) Hutcheson; daughters, Amy Hicks and Lauren (Joey) Lehman; stepdaughters, Leslie (Kelley) Young, Mindy (Vernon) Kirkwood, Christy (Gary) Webb; brothers, Gregory (Suzanne) Hutcheson, Phillip (Becky) Hutcheson, Kirk (Mona) Hutcheson, and David (Lisa) Hutcheson; 12 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and uncle, Frank Hutcheson.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.

Family and friends are invited to a fellowship dinner at the Putnamville Baptist Church 639 E. US 40 Putnamville, IN following services at 5:00 PM.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home.

We are saddened to hear of Kerry's passing. Our sincere condolences to Wanda and his children Amy and Lauren and grandchildren, brothers and their families too.
