Mom was the "mom" to many! The neighborhood mom that everyone came to with their troubles. She would give you her own clothes if you needed them. She was a lover of sports, music, and family! She always called herself a survivor, and if you know her, then you understand that statement. Her kids and grandkids and animals were her entire world! I get that from her, she always called me her little "Elle May," from the Clampits. She was a night owl and it was often that I would wake up yo notes that she left me while I was sleeping. I hope she is with family and reunited with Jessica, I can't wait to meet her! Mom you were the glue that held this family together and I hope I can fill your shoes! Love always and forever, your angel baby!

To the Mason family-
I am so very thankful that you allowed me and the rest of us to help take care of her in her last days. She was definitely a spitfire at times but a lovely gentle person that always had a smile on. Kim was a blessing to myself and the rest of the people she knew. I am grateful that my mother had such a good best friend throughout all these years and growing up being around or getting excited to go to her house to see her in her tie dye always made me smile all the years. I will never forget my memories of her. I’m grateful for her immediate family as well as her extended family I got to meet the last 11 days of her life and realize that she was a special person not only to my mother and I but also to her whole family and friends. Love you all! Such a loved and beautiful person. Fly high Kim!

So sorry to hear this news. I haven't seen Kim in many many years but, we graduated high school together in 1976. I have kept up with a lot of other graduates through Facebook and it is always sad to hear when someone you practically grew up with looses their life. Rest in Peace Kim. May God hold you in his arms....my deepest sympathy to the family.
