Sending prayers to the Attkisson family. Larry was one of the greatest men I knew. He loved his family with his whole heart and always wanted to see the good in others. I can remember having many talks with Larry and he would always say “take your time thinking and don’t rush a decision that it will come to you when your ready”. I enjoyed our talks, he always seemed to know what to say in that moment. May the memories of Larry and the love of family surround the Attkisson family and give them strength in the days ahead.

Brothers Harry and Larry were two of my heroes when they were Varsity wrestlers at Washington High School back in the 60's . Harold Bryant got me interested in wrestling and some of my FAVORITE times were spent learning wrestling moves in Larry's parents garage where they had wrestling mats set up to have weekly wrestling practice during summer vacation !!! I never came close to being as good a wrestler as Larry and Harry . Harry went on to the State Finals and the ONLY reason he didn't win the State Championship was because the mat was wet and he slipped attempting his first takedown move . It was a heartbreaker . Larry spent a LOT of time helping me learn wrestling moves after everyone else gave up on me . He was a GREAT guy !!! Surely Jesus Christ met Larry with open arms and welcomed him into his Heavenly Home !!! May God comfort all of his family members and friends during this difficult time !!
