Laura was born in Carrollton, Georgia on August 4, 1960, the daughter of Frank and Carol Louise (Fuller) Billings, and was a graduate of Greencastle High School.
Mrs. Lawson loved to take care of her family. She was a friend to all she met and will be missed by many.
She is survived by her two brothers, Fred Billings, (wife-Janet), and David Frank Billings; a sister, Kathy Capps, (husband-Raymond); and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert J. Lawson; and a brother, Tommy Duane Billings.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 p.m. on April 29, 2023, at Van Bibber Lake Community Center with Lily Frazier officiating.
