Lela Darlene Brattain

Born October 31, 1938, in Greencastle, Indiana the daughter of Earl Edgar and Lela (Arnold) Cash. She was a graduate of Fillmore High School “Class of 1955”. She married Ray Brattain on October 6, 1957.

Darlene was a homemaker and had worked at the Double Decker. She enjoyed oil painting, crafting, knitting, and sewing, helping with many 4-H projects and making wedding and bridesmaid dresses.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a daughter Lori Rowings; brothers Donald, Verlin and Russell Cash; sisters Freda Minkler and Betty Jordan; a great grandson; and a great great grandson.

Darlene is survived by her daughters Teresa (Keith) Pingleton and Tina (Matt) Sillery; grandchildren Mandy (Erich) Nelson, Randy Jackson, Nathan Rowings, Lisa (Chad) Oliver, Lindsey (Anthony) Fenwick, Danielle (Mike) Dodson, Samantha (Levi) Jones, Kylie Rowings, Ethan Sillery, Brody Jackson, and Lane Sillery; several great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, June 30, 2025, at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Clinton Falls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM on Monday until the time of services at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Darlene to the Alzheimer's Association.
