Linda Mae Boatright

Born July 12, 1948, in Logansport, IN, the daughter of Gail Keith and Dorothy Eileen (Garrison) Dunkle. She was a graduate of Lewis Cass High School in Logansport, IN.

Linda had worked for the Lear Corporation for 10 years, retiring in 2003. She had previously worked at Techno Trim and Mallorys.

Linda loved woodworking and was a member of the National Wood Carver Association and the Valparaiso Duneland Wood Carver’s Club. She was an avid birdwatcher, enjoyed all nature, and will be remembered as a great cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Boatright; son Kevin Boatright; daughter Mary J. Boatright; and grandson Jeremy Boatright.

Linda is survived by her daughter Trisha Eileen (Todd) Stark; sons James E. (Diana) Boatright and Donald R. (Frank) Boatright; brother Larry Dunkle; sisters Nancy (Tony) Magna and Rita (Dave) Rothermel; nine grandchildren: seven great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 2, 2026, at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at the Pinelawn Mausoleum, Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
