Marie E. Englehart Giddings

She was born on September 29, 1916 in Clay County, Indiana to Lewis Englehart and Minnie Mong Englehart.

Mrs. Giddings retired as a clerk / bookkeeper for Barrett Supply Company / Allis Chalmers in 1980 with 17 years of service.

She married James L. Giddings on August 14, 1968 and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2011.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Tommy Lewis Moss, a sister Virgie Miller and two granddaughters.

Surviving are her daughters, Anna Marie Jacob and husband Dale of Kansas and Sharron Kaye Tarbutton of Lake Station, Janice Schenk and husband Charlie of Cloverdale, Joan Sue Corns and husband Bob of Quincy and Jennifer Lou “Jenni” Artis and husband Ernie of Cloverdale; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great- great-great grandchildren.

Committal services with entombment will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at 2 PM at the Pine Lawn Mausoleum at Forest Hill Cemetery with The Rev. Dr. Paul Champion officiating.

Memorials in Marie’s memory may be shared with the Arthritis Foundation.
