Marks life was well lived. I know Mark as a co worker and a dear friend. His knowledge was immeasurable only 2 nd to Sandy Langston when it came to town issues. . The memories of his sweet smile and Nancy help with computer issues will linger in my memories for years to come. His love and loyalty to his family was inspirational to all that had the privilege to watch the interaction. Gods Speed Mark until we meet again.

Mark was a fine man and friend. I worked with him for a couple of years at the Cloverdale Police Department as reserves. I was patiently riding in the passenger seat of the squad car as Mark patrolled. I was not patient as a 21 year old new reserve officer. A mustang 5.0 went flying by us and I reached for the red and blue lights encouraging him to “go get them”. He never even looked over as he stated “that one is going to get away”. He was right like most of the time. RIP Brother

Mark was one of the first instructors to welcome me into the fire service many years ago. He earned my respect with his knowledge; and the insight he was willing to share. He always had a smile on his face whenever we met; whether at a training or other function; and could show a serious side to make sure things got done. He will be missed, God bless and Godspeed brother. Rest in peace, your brothers will carry the torch.
