Born August 27, 1960, in Indianapolis, he was the son of John Harold and Wanda Colleen (Toney) Davis. Mark was a graduate of Avon High School.
Mark had worked as a welder for Great Dane in Brazil for 22 years, retiring in 2025. He was also an avid hunter, especially bow hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Steve Phipps.
Mark is survived by his wife Shelly L. (Seiple) Davis; daughters Mandy Davis and Dawn Cook; sister Lana Phipps Reid; grandchildren Cheyenne Shoemaker and Keanu Cook; great grandchildren Hezakiah Hayes, Allister Shoemaker and Miliana Shoemaker; and his nieces Maria Allen Williams, Lynn Allen, and Dawn Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Little Walnut Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM on Wednesday until time of service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
