Marleen was a beautiful, lovely, and kind woman. Truly an example of the Proverbs 31 woman. She was a gentle, quiet spirit. A teacher of good things. Clothed in good works. A keeper of the home and a helper to her husband. Faithful in all things. Clothed in strength and dignity and she laughed without fear of the future. Her children did rise up and call her Blessed. Many women have done excellently but Marleen surpasses them all. She will be missed.

Living in a small farming community, we all knew each other it seems. We both attended the Tharp reunions at the Park and I always thought she was so beautiful. When she married you Ken, I was so happy for her and wanted to grow up to be a great wife and mother just like she always was. I feel so blessed growing up knowing her, her mom, dad and brother. Our families were not only related, but were also friends. Ken, you and Marleen raised a beautiful, loving family. She was a role model for many, many women, and loved by everyone. She will be missed here with us, but oh how Heaven will shine with her spirit!

Your mom and dad have always meant the world to us. We are so sorry for your loss but we know how frustrating Parkinson’s is. God has wonderful plans for her where she isn’t bound by her disease that she had here on earth. God bless you Kenny and we love all of you.
