

Born May 7, 1933 in Putnam County, she was the daughter of Fred and Nellie (Cox) Lukenbill. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School and had also attended school at Bainbridge.
Mary was the president of Boswell Tree Service. She had previously worked at Walmart as a cashier, a housemother at SAE Fraternity at DePauw University, and a seamstress at Max’s Clothing Shop in Greencastle. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Moose Lodge, and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her children, Susan K. Lanham, Bainbridge, Wanda J. (Mike) Pugliese, Bainbridge, Linda Steele & companion, Ed Mishler, Greencastle, Tim J. (Susan) Boswell,Austin,TX, and Jason Boswell and companion, Electa Cancilla, Greencastle, brothers, Marion Lukenbill, Wm. “Bill” Lukenbill, and Keith Lukenbill, all of Brownsburg; ten grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Robert Boswell; daughter, Dona J. Robinson; Parents; brother, Charles Lukenbill; sister, Shirley Rooker;and grandsons, John & Wade Robinson and Billy and George Lanham.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with interment to follow at Clinton Falls Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 10th at the funeral home
