Mary Jean Huffman

Mary Jean Huffman, 80, of Bainbridge, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Jean was born May 10, 1938 in Greencastle the daughter of Rex and Mary Frances (Ensor) Call. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School “Class of 1956” and attended Indiana Business College. Jean retired in 2004 after 32 years working at Kroger in Greencastle. She was a member of the Bainbridge United Methodist Church and Eastern Star of Groveland. She is survived by her children, Alan (wife, Christina) Huffman, Melinda “Mindy” Huffman, Wayne (wife, Donna) Huffman, Steve Huffman, and Penny Huffman; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Marion Huffman in 2016, her parents, brothers, Bob and Max Call, and sisters, Shirley Groove and Sharon King. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Bainbridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 25th at the funeral home.
