Born May 14, 1933 in the Republic of Panama the daughter of Woodie and Maya Baldwin. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1954”.
Melba married Ora C. Turner Jr and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother Dewey Baldwin.
Melba is survived by her children Michael (wife Dixie) Turner, Timothy (wife Brenda) Turner, and Brian (wife Denise) Turner; eight grandchildren Tyler, Riley, Christi, Trisha, Kelly, Austin, Steven, and Hope, and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Brick Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service at the funeral on Thursday.
