Born November 13, 1963 in Greencastle, the daughter of Leon R. and Virginia (Pell) Phillips. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School and had attended DePauw University.
Melody had worked at the Get Go & BP convenient stores and previously at Subway Restaurant in Indianapolis.
She attended the Brookville Road Community Church in New Palestine.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy R. Bullard; her mother, Virginia Phillips; brother, Ed Phillips; sister, Linda Evans; and several nieces and nephews.
Melody was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Benita Lou Phillips.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Melody at a later date.
