Mr. Michael David Gilliam, age 40, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011.
Born April 15, 1971 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Gary Lee Gilliam and Kathleen E. Harris and was a graduate of Cloverdale High School “class of 1990”
Michael was a United States Marine Corps Veteran, having served for 13 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Kierra Gilliam of Greencastle, parents, Gary Lee Gilliam & wife, Caryn Atwood of Cloverdale, and Kathleen Harris of Sanford, FL; three brothers, Travis Gilliam, Cody Gilliam, both of Cloverdale, and Thomas Gregg of Carmel.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 12, 2011 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church with Fr. Darvin Winters officiating. Military rites will follow the Mass.
Friends may call at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home on Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
