

Born May 21, 1951 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Turner and Delores (Armand) Brooks and was a graduate of Howe High School, Indianapolis. He married Janice (Meyer) Brooks on November 25, 1987 and she survives.
Keith was a veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Cloverdale.
Keith retired from the United States Post Office, where he had been a mail carrier, having worked out of the Park Fletcher, Shortridge, and Lawrence post offices.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Brooks; his mother, Delores Brooks; stepchildren, Julie Kay Rader and Richard (Andrea) B. Rader Jr.; sister, Pamela McChesney; brother, Samuel Brooks; grandchildren, Meghan, Katlyn, Colleen, and Mollie Kay Rader; and a great grandchild, Addison Rader.
He was preceded in death by his Father.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Entombment with military honors will follow at 2:00 PM on Saturday at the Washington Park East Cemetery, Indianapolis.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM on Saturday until time of service at the funeral home.
