Born December 27, 1949 in Indianapolis, the daughter of George and Mary (Baire) Gritton. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School “Class of 1968”.
Nancy worked several years in customer service at Kroger in Greencastle, retiring January 2, 2015. She was also a homemaker and childcare provider.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tommy Witty and a sister Gail Gritton.
Nancy is survived by her children, Michael Witty, Scott Witty & companion Nora Moya, Amanda Mahoy & husband Mike, and Joey Witty & fiancée’ Chantal Williams; sister Deborah Alexander & husband Kenneth; grandchildren, Steven, Kayla, Sierra, Cole, Ashley, Bryson & Ian; great-grandchildren Hunter & Jameson; and nephew Brandon Moreno.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Nancy on Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Bainbridge Community Building 201 W. US HWY 36 Bainbridge, IN. 46105. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nancy to Riley Children’s Hospital 500 N. Meridian St. Ste 100 Indianapolis, IN. 46204.
