Dearest Samantha, John, and Brett. I remember when your beautiful Mother became a member of the Hecko family. Your
Mother's grace and strength were noteworthy from the outset. As her family grew so did her determination to create a loving home for all of you. That home, and the security it provided, permitted each of you to develop into the unique and brilliant individuals that you are now with loving families of your own. Your Mother exhibited the most incredible strenth and fortitude in her last battle. She could not have made this journey without your care and compassion. John's bittersweet photographs will forever remind us of the joy she took in living each minute of her day. Your beautiful Mother was indeed a Special Lady. We love you, Flo (Hecko) Hatcher

I am truly sorry to hear about the death of Patty. She was a mentor to my sister, Barbara, when Barbara first started cancer treatments. After Barbara's death Patty helped me with making Barbara's wigs available to other ladies in need. After that, Patty was instrumental in preparing a bereavement meal at the church after my father's funeral. When I attended First Baptist Church, Patty was always pleasant and smiling when she greeted me. I will remember that as long as I am able.

My dear mother,

Thank you for 52 years of always being there and loving me. Thank you for raising my two amazing siblings, Brett and Samantha. They have been so brave through all of this and we could not have done this without each other.

Thank you for caring for us as we grew up and allowing us to care for you these past few months. I am a better man today because of each experience.

I love you so much it hurts. Saying goodbye was the single hardest thing I have experienced in my life. I long for the day to hold you again. Until then, mom, I will live with you in my heart.

Just as we ended each night, I will say to you what I always said, “See ya later”.

Your loving son,

Patty was a
friend of mine. Her Dad and Mom were friends of my dad and mom. I watched Patty grow up to be the kind of person that she was. She used to come into Anytime Fitness gym and we would work out together. She would always talk about her family. So sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed

Patty and I are cousins. Patty’s dad and my mom were brother and sister . I am so sorry for your loss . She was a very sweet person and will be missed greatly. God has another angel tonight . When I was younger I spent a lot of time with sleep overs and we always had fun .
