Patricia was a graduate of Zionsville High School. She previously worked at Ann’s Fashion Corner and Holly Shop. Patricia was a member of Greencastle Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of Delta Theta Tau and a member of the Greencastle School Board. Patricia was an avid golfer and was a long time member of Windy Hill Country Club and Old Hickory golf course.
She married Don Hess on December 16, 1962. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2018.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Margaret Oden; her sisters, Frances Minteer and Margaret Harris; her brothers, Donald Oden, Keith Oden, Russell Oden and Ernie Oden; her husband, Don Hess and a son, Craig Hess.
She is survived by son, Scott (Brenda) Hess; grandchildren, Alyssa Hess and Brady Hess; step-grandchildren, Chelsie (Jon) Katschke, Elizabeth (Nathan) Carrera and Drew (Tara) Hodson; six great-grandchildren, friend, Judy Blaydes and a large extended family.
Private burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery.
