Patricia Ann Jones

Born June 16, 1929, in Cloverdale, IN, she was the daughter of Orville and Edith (Wilson) Reed. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1948”.

Pat served as the Putnam County Sanitarian for several years she also ran a daycare in her home for several years. She was a member of the Hanna St. Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star. She also served as a Girl Scout Leader.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lee G. Jones; son Larry Lee Jones; siblings George (Margurite) Reed, Marjorie (Don) Leer, Barbara (Morris) Bitzer, Mary (Ralph “Joe”) Cox, and Laurel (Jim) Jenkins.

Pat is survived by her children Janet Ward, Nancy (Michael) Mace, and Richard (Carol) Jones; sister Alice (Gene) Beck; sister-in-law June Leer; grandchildren Leighann Jones, Daniel (Emilee) Packard, and Grace (Cameron) Thomas; great grandchildren Michaela (DJ) Chesshir, Madison Packard, Tristan Packard, Jace Packard, and Gemma Thomas; great-great grandchildren Beckham, Bodhi, and Baylor Chesshir.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
