Born July 28, 1934 in Pike County, Ohio, he was the son of Archer and Agnes (King) Oty. He married Wilamena “Billie” (Sylvester) Oty on May 19, 2000 and she survives.
Paul had been a truck driver with United, now Marathon for over 35 years, retiring in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Oty; sons, Darold (Cynthia) Oty and Terry (Sandra) Oty; a brother, Danny (Annabelle) Oty; a sister, Shirley (Roger) Maxson; three stepchildren, Gary (Mary) Heisler, Cheryl Heisler, and Teri (Tom) Wolff; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mae Oty; five brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Fillmore Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 9th at the funeral home.
