Peggy Lynne Crockford

Peggy was born in Dryden, New York on May 9, 1952, the daughter of William and Joyce Kingsbury. She attended Harrold Beauty Academy in Terre Haute, and earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from Ivy Tech of Terre Haute.

Mrs. Crockford was a life-long Baptist at heart. She worked for Heartland Automotive for 26 years until her retirement in May of 2023. Peggy was an avid gardener, and enjoyed sewing and cooking.

Survivors include her son, Chris Brotherton, (Rhonda), Greencastle; her three daughters, Charity Schultz, Indianapolis, Candace Brotherton, Brazil, and Summer White, (Brandon), Greencastle; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her beloved Chihuahua, Tiff; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, who passed away on the same day as her, Storm Schulz; a sister, Vee Bell; and a brother David Nowalk.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
