Born on May 11, 1956, Randy was a graduate of North Putnam High School, Class of 1975. After graduation, he faithfully served his country in the United States Navy for six years and was honorably discharged in 1979 and transferred to the Naval Reserve.
Following his military service, Randy spent several years working as a mechanic, where his hard work and skills were appreciated by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald (Ragweed) and Bonny( Hill) Ratcliff.
Randy is survived by his sisters, Terry (Mike) Clifford and Debby (Jake) Zaring; along with his nieces and nephews, Aaron Smith, Jordan Kean, Izaak Zaring, Darcy Boyce, Ashley Truebenbach, and Tabitha Bandy.
He will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him.
Military Honors will be held for friends and family at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Union Chapel Cemetery, 5998 W US Highway 36, Greencastle, Indiana, 46135
