Born April 29, 1951 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Thurman and Yvonne (Tonis) Query and was a graduate of North Central High School. Rebecca married Samuel J. Brewer III on May 30, 1980 and he survives.
Rebecca had been a secretary with Cigna Insurance for several years.
She loved animals and will be remembered for her warm smile and kind heart.
Survivors include her husband, Samuel J. Brewer III; sons, Samuel J. Brewer IV and Benjamin Brewer; her mother, Yvonne Query; brothers, Thurman Query, Robin (Debra) Query, and Matthew Query.
She was preceded in death by her Father; a sister, Nancy Sproles; and two brothers, Michael and John Query.
Family and friends will be received to celebrate Rebecca’s Life on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made in Rebecca’s memory to the Humane Society of the Donor’s choice.
