Rebecca Jane Reeves

With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Rebecca Jane Reeves (Parrish). She passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, age 75 to go be with the lord at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.

She lived a life defined by her warmth, generosity, and boundless love for her family, she was a graduate in 1969 of Greencastle Senior High School, and worked in the cafeteria of the Greencastle schools for years, then went on to be self-employed operating her own cleaning business.

She married Charles Reeves on January 23, 2016, and he survives along with two children Crystal Hutson-Burchett, and Danny Burchett; five siblings Debby Phillips (Ernie), Shirley, Doug, Randy (Joanie), and Tim Parrish (Jayme); four grandchildren, Ryley, Noah, Becca Cook, Harley, and Hunter Burchett; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

she was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Margaret (Higgins) Parrish; her first husband Danny Burchett; siblings, Gene, Larry, Ester (Venis), Jimmy, Peggy (Wright), and Pam (Patterson) Parrish.

services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 4 2026, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to service on Thursday.
