Rita M. DeNino Cabe

Rita was born in Detroit, MI, on April 7, 1941 to Samuel & Lena (Bartol) DeNino.

Rita had been a secretary at the Montezuma Elementary School and was a member of the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

Rita was proceeded in death by her husband Dautry F. Cabe whom she married on Nov. 30th, 1963, daughter Margaret Ann Burt, and Granddaughter Heather Kelsey Cabe.

Surviving family includes, sons Sam (Lisa) Cabe of Danville IN, & Brian (Marilee) Cabe of Myrtle Beach SC, and daughter Joetta (Jack) Scanland II of Greencastle IN. Brothers Patrick DeNino of N. Carolina, Joseph DeNino of South Carolina, Sisters Mary Ann Kennedy of NV, June Ritter of Michigan, Kathy (Lyle) Gilbert of Michigan. Grandchildren; Derek(Lacey) McMillan, Skylar Long, Isaac(Candace) Green, Jacob Cabe, Leesa Vasilon, Dakota Cabe, Michael Cabe, Codey Cabe, Zachary Cabe, Hope Scanland & Trey Scanland as well as several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 18th at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.
