Robert Jeffery Green

He was born on June 7, 1947 in Tipton, IN to Robert B. Green and Gwendolyn V. (Stewart) Fullen.

Bob was a fun loving, storytelling man who never saw a stranger. He wore many hats and knew how to fix almost anything. His grandchildren affectionately named his workshop "Pap Pap's Fix It Shop." His life was defined by a love for woodworking from building or remodeling homes to his artistry in building a cedar strip canoe and many pieces of furniture. No job was too large for him to tackle. Bob also enjoyed baking desserts and shared his many creations with friends and family.

Bob graduated from Brownsburg High School and made Bainbridge and Bloomington Indiana his home for many years. Bob was an Army Veteran, a carpenter and craftsman, a farmer, an energy management specialist, a salesperson, a business owner, a real estate appraiser, a landlord, and a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.

Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Becky (Henderson) Green, two sons, Samuel B. Green and Jonathan R. (Lindsy) Green and one daughter, Amy E. Green; four grandchildren, Maia Green, Olivia Green, Lincoln Green and Bond Green. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Wilson; and his brother, Ben (Darlene) Green along with many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Hopkins Rector Funeral Home in Greencastle, Indiana. Family will receive friends from 2 - 4 p.m. Service begins at 4 p.m. with military honors. Contributions in memory of Bob can be made to Bloomington Indiana Habitat for Humanity.
