Robert Earl Greene

Born September 9, 1934 in Parke County, IN, he was the son of Robert R. and Mary Elizabeth (DePlanty) Greene and was a graduate of Bellmore High School “Class of 1952”. He married Kathryn (Wittenmyer) Greene on September 30, 1955.

Robert was a supervisor with Mallory Capacitor, where he had worked for over 40 years. He was baptized at the Russellville Community Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Greene; children, Mike (Kim) Greene, Steve (Cheryl) Greene, Kathy McCollough, and Diane (Marty) Fordice; son-in-law, Jeff O’Neal; brothers, Russell (Joanne) Greene, Ernie (Nola) Greene, and Jack (Glenda) Greene; a sister, Betty Thomas and friend, Wayne; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Teresa O’Neal; brothers, Harold, Max Duane, and Raymond Greene; and a sister, Francis Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Rockville, IN.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26th and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27th at the funeral home.
